Based in Paris (FRANCE), Dissectomy was founded in July 2000 by Comar (guitar) and Ludovic (vocals). Although a song was composed, the project became serious only with Vincent's arrival on guitar in April 2001. In the next few months, the band integrated Bruno on drums followed just after by François on bass. Another 3 songs were composed. But soon, the line-up didn't seem to be very stable : Vincent left the band in January 2002 for style disagreement and was replaced by Patrick who quickly showed a lack of motivation. At the beginning of April 2002, he was replaced by Sylvain who presented the same problem. At the same time, François left the band for personnal reasons as well as Ludovic who lacked of time for the band. After several auditions, Chris (bass) and TKR (vocals) joined the band in July 2002. Another unsuccessful attempt was done with Sylvain in October 2002, just before Dissectomy found his lacking member with KyRioS (guitar) in November 2002. In March 2003, the band decided it was time to record a song for the website. The band got a lot of good reactions as you can watch on the guestbook. But in May, TKR left the band for many disagreements with the rest of the band concerning musical direction or public relation. He was replaced by Popo (ex Synapsis). The band had its first live experience the 21rst June of 2003 in rue de la Harpe in Paris. In a word : Remembering ! Great bands, great audience, great atmosphere between bands etc. Since this event, Dissectomy tried to record its demo twice without success for different reasons. Then at the end of December, Bruno leaved the band for many disagreements regarding future musical orientations & band's evolution. He integrated a band named Azziard (black metal). Dissectomy is also actively searching for a skilled drummer (tight blast beats & double bass with creativity & fineness). As for the compositions, the current list is composed of 5 titles & an instrumental to what you can add 3 new titles in work.
